Wind instruments take the spotlight in a program of grace and sophistication. Enescu's folk-inflected lyricism is combined with Schmitt's virtuosic interplay between horn and wind ensemble, concluding with the Belle Epoque charm of Gounod's Petite Symphonie.
Join us on May 19th, 7:30pm at St John's East Malvern for a celebration of chamber wind music.
Featuring graduates of ANAM, the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, conducted by Jessica Zuk.
