PROGRAMS

Ascolta Qui runs concerts in three different streams: choral, orchestral and chamber music. Choral and orchestral concerts are organised by AQ and musicians can apply to perform for each program. Where limited places are available, performers may need to submit an audition video.

Members of Ascolta Qui can apply to perform a chamber music concert by submitting their program and musician details. Applications will be assessed by the committee and successful applicants will be contacted with details. Unsuccessful applicants can be re-submitted multiple times.

Chamber music

We support musicians in producing their own chamber music concerts according to their desires and needs. We cater to performances from solo recitalists to small chamber orchestras. Services provided can range from covering all aspects of organisation and production to any subset of the following:

• Venue research, hire and booking

• Sourcing sheet music, copyright and licensing, or engraving parts from original manuscripts

• Instrument hire

• Marketing, promotion, and creation of visual materials

• Ticketing

• Box office and front-of-house services

• Stage management

• Insurance and legal auspicing

Choral and Orchestral

Our chamber orchestra, Aurora Sinfonia, and our choir currently operate on a project-based program and perform around 3 concerts per year. Rehearsals occur across an intensive period in the weeks or days before each concert. Interested musicians are encouraged to submit an express their interest on our; members are invited to play on a per-project basis according to the places to be filled.
